If you’ve always wanted to pursue a career as a professional Quidditch player, maybe your time has come, thanks to Blue Isle Studios. Indeed, the developers of the Canadian studio have worked on the development of a mode, called Broomstick League, which takes the mechanics of the famous and impressive sport present in the hit series Harry Potter.
As you will understand, Broomstick League is only a game mode that is, however, already available in Citadel: Forged with Fire, a massively multiplayer open world video game released in July 2017.
According to the Blue Isle studio, Broomstick League will allow you to participate in five-minute games that will oppose two teams of five players. Just as in the favorite sport of wizards, Quidditch, different rings will be placed on each side of the ground serving as a goal. Of course, the goal of the various players on the field will be to pass the ball in the few rings made available, depending on the ring a number of points will be awarded to the team. The team with the highest score at the end of the allotted time wins the game.
In order to give these players a different experience, the Blue Isle studio has developed tools that will allow aspiring wizards to customize various elements. In addition to the expected customizations for brooms and armor, players will also be able to create their own arenas. The most creative of them will even be able to imagine new games thanks to the various tools put in place.
On the occasion of the release of the game mode Broomstick League, the developers shared a trailer allowing you to realize the possibilities that it offers.
